Bloomington, IN	Potholes, Other Street Repair	closed	Hello, I live at 4209 E Sheffield Dr. The road at the end of my driveway is becoming deteriorated and forming potholes. the road is at a down hill slop so recently when we have been getting these really hard rains its worsened the issue quite a bit. Over the years as you can see in the photo ive laid down concrete to attempt a patch job myself. Now it is beyond my repair im afraid. Any help on this repair would be greatly appricated. Bloomington, IN	Blocked Street	closed	Rental property owner has built a semi-permanent structure in a KNOWN public right of way blocking the ability for people to walk freely to the B-Line and blocking the ability for the B-Line security service folks to connect to West Summitt St.. SEVERAL neighbors have reported this issue to the City. One neighbor brought Council Member Rosenbarger to the site to show it to her. Bloomington, IN	Other	closed	The light installed to illuminate the train tracks/10th street underpass area does not have a shield and blasts the area between Tulip Tree and Campus View with light as well. Rostock, Deutschland	bauliche Gefahrenstelle	in_process	Wohl im Zusammenhang mit mehreren Baustellen sind weite Teile des Radweges in westlicher Richtung ab dem Werftdreieck (und weiterführend am Holbeinplatz) gesperrt. (vielleicht auch der Unbefahrbarkeit und Unzulässigkeit der Wege selber wegen - das weiß ich nicht) Frage: ist eine Freigabe des linksseitigen Weges vorgesehen? Falls ja: bisher weist keine Beschilderung darauf hin (auch wenn nun noch mehr Radfahrer als sonst den Weg gegen die Fahrtrichtung benutzen. Falls nein: vielleicht sind Warnschilder hilfreich um als Autofahrer gewarnt zu sein vor Radfahrern, die die Fahrbahn (ja leider korrekterweise) benutzen. Zusammenfassende Frage: gibt es für Baustellen in Rostock irgendein Konzept für alternative Wegeführung? Gerade Fuß- und Radwege sind oft komplett gesperrt. Für Fußgänger gibt es gelegentlich Umleitungsschilder (gesperrt, andere Straßenseite). Für Radwege fehlen regelmäßig jegliche Alternativen. Das führt 1. zu zusätzlichen Gefährdungen und verleitet 2. die Radfahrer zwangsweise zu verkehrswidriger Benutzung (eben mangels legaler und praktisch nutzbarer Wege). Ein Beispiel: wenn ein benutzungspflichtiger Radweg plötzlich gesperrt ist (plötzlich weil nur ein Verbotsschild direkt an der Sperrung steht und keine Vorwarnung, wie es für Sperrungen der Fahrbahn üblich wäre), müssen Radfahrer auf die Fahrbahn ausweichen. Damit rechnet man als Autofahrer eher nicht und läuft Gefahr, Radfahrer anzufahren. Auch Radverkehrsverbotsschilder an Baustellen auf Wegen, die sonst nie legal befahren werden dürften (linksseitige Fußwege) sind verwirrend - suggerieren sie doch, das diese Wege sonst befahren werden sollten. Abschließend: Baustellenumgehungen für Fußgänger sind nicht für den Radverkehr und vor allem: Radfahrer sind keine qualifizierten Fußgänger.		about 1 month ago
