Request a new Street Light |

Is there a place to request NO new street lights? Or to oppose requests for new and "improved" lighting?
There is plenty of evidence that night lighting is harmful, to humans and to animals. There is also evidence that lighting does not reduce crimes.
I don't live in a "bright" area of the city, and yet light is all around me at night, including creeping into my house and bedroom even though I have room darkening drapes.
I want nighttime and stars back. I can't be the only one, and yet it seems that procedures are set up to favor increased lighting and profits for Duke. |

Resident comment at Farmers Market OOTM table-- will curbs along divided bike lane that begins at the corner of 3rd and Clarizz (By Bfoods E) be painted orange for greater visibility? Noted many cars actually enter the bike lane because they don't see the curbs. |
