3rd St bicycle lane between Eagleson and Indiana. Many of the trees adjacent to the bike lane have branches low enough to smack bikers in the face. Can they be trimmed? I keep having to duck to protect my [somewhat] beautiful face from harm. Thanks for the help. |

Wasn't sure how to categorize this issue of cigarette litter. north sidewalk on Kirkwood, outside of Crazy Horse and Alley Bar. Patrons of these two businesses frequently litter their cigarettes onto the sidewalk, into the planter, into the drain, into the metal cage surrounding the pipes--without extinguishing them. It's pretty gross and also a fire hazard. And I'm guessing when the cigarettes go into that drain, they end up in Clear Creek, which isn't great for the environment (not that there aren't other issues affecting Clear Creek's cleanliness, but still).
I've noticed it for years, but I guess I only cared enough to write a UReport now. Because earlier this week I was walking my dog on that sidewalk, and someone flicked their cigarette onto the ground near me, and my dog must have thought it was a treat or a scrap of food because she tried to gobble it up. And I think it burnt her tongue a little because she was whining for the rest of the day.
Maybe we could get Crazy Horse and Alley Bar to set up cigarette receptacles so their patrons have a designated place to safely dispose of cigarettes? |

The trailhead for the new Powerline Trail has safety/traffic cones that are often blocking the sidewalk and caution tape that's been loosened creating a hazard for cyclists and pedestrians. |

The bike lane paint has been worn away on Washington and Lincoln streets between Kirkwood and 3rd. Cars are now routinely driving in the bike lane and make a hazard for cyclists. Can the bike lane line be repainted? |

Winslow at Allendale is experiencing significant backed traffic due to bridge repairs on Rhorer Road. Could the Winslow Rd traffic sign be removed for a period of time to keep east and west traffic moving on Winslow road? I’m sure you may have additional ideas to keep traffic moving at high volume periods. Maybe a traffic cop could direct traffic? Thx for your attention to this problem |
