Bloomington, INopenPotholes, Other Street RepairThere is a huge pothole in the Monroe Convention Center auxiliary parking lot, just west of the b-line trail, and just north of the paved road that connects the two parking lots. The pothole is a very significant safety hazard, and should be filled in immediately. Please reach out if you have any questions. Thank you.about 9 hours ago
Bloomington, INopenTraffic SuggestionsI reside at 1909 E. Windsor Dr. Recently many of the streets in our neighborhood were repaved and speed humps were installed. However, our street from the corner of Arden Dr to the three-way stop corner of Wilton Dr were repaved but not speed humps. I am advocating for 1-2 to be installed on Windsor Dr between these two intersections. Very few autos stop at the three-way and I believe the speed hump will slow them down as they come to the Windsor & Wilton intersection and make for a much safer intersection. An older resident in the neighborhood explained how Windsor Dr at one time was a straight east-west street and the Windsor & Wilton intersection was a straight T with only one direction having a stop sign. The city, many years ago, changed this intersection to add a three-way stop and curve Windsor out so to slow down traffic. Maybe it worked, but not so much from our vantage point. I have small grandchildren that are with me a lot and I'd like the area to be safer for pedestrians. Lots of dog walkers and people walking in general and there are NO sidewalks for the most part in our neighborhood. Thank you for your consideration of this matter.
