When you are exiting from Brighton Crest facing west and looking south, the tree and brush growth limits your line of sight. Traffic travels at high speed (much faster than the posted speed limit) which further compounds this problem. The hilly nature of Smith Road also makes the line of sight less. Increased speed enforcement and tree and brush removal would make this much safer. As a longer term project, Smith Road needs to be redesigned and developed with considerations made for vehicles, pedestrians, and bicycles. This is a dense residential area and yet Smith Road remains a hilly and dangerous country road. | | 6 months ago |
