| Bloomington, IN | open | Sidewalk Requests | Sidewalk work is currently happening on Laura Way and I'm wondering if the city can install a sidewalk connecting Jennifer 1063 and 1059? We have a lot of young kids on our street right now and the bus stop is right past that section. It would be nice if the kids didn't have to walk on the street during htat busy time. I think 1063 is a double lot and so the developer never finished the sidewalk. There are some trees that I don't think anyone would want to cut down, but perhaps the sidewalk can be installed a bit closer to the curb through that section?
Also, I live at 1044 and we have one section of the sidewalk that is raised due to tree roots. It's unclear if they are roots from a tree on our property or roots from a tree on city property. Could the city fix that as part of this project? There is also a water hookup very close to this spot so I'm not sure how complicated this would be. It's not a terrible issue, but bumpy enough to make pushing a stroller or using a scooter a bit precarious. | | 11 months ago |

My family has called AT&T three times: They cannot tell us why this is happening or when it will be resolved. This is a huge disruption to all remote workers who live in our area.
