Bloomington, IN Parks & Playgrounds open Loud screaming and shouting during an adult game at Olcott Park’s playing fields continued until about 9:50pm on Thursday, October 29. It carried all the way to Ashwood, disturbing children trying to sleep on a school night. Please address this with the league organizers so that excessive screaming and shouting do not continue after 9 pm during future games. Thank you. 5 days ago

Bloomington, IN Parks & Playgrounds open The lizard statue at the little kids brian park playground has been covered in sidewalk chalk for over a week now, ordinarily it wouldn’t be an issue but the chalk stained my sons jacket and I would like to be able to let him play on it again. 5 days ago

Bloomington, IN City Performance open There is a homeless women with a yellow cart, she is older, who is constantly screaming things around the B-Line trail by the Bloomington Antique market. At 10 pm last night she was screaming, and at 8 am this morning she is still screaming. I understand that Bloomington has a large number of unhoused people but that doesn't mean the city should excuse behavior like this. She is a disturbance to the whole community. When she screams at night it is preventing people in the neighborhood from being able to sleep. If the city isn't going to do much about the homeless people in Bloomington and if they keep excusing behavior like this, the problem is only going to grow. Under Bloomington Municipal Code Chapter 14.09, violating the city's noise ordinance can result in escalating fines up to $500, a citation, or misdemeanor criminal charges and arrest. Why do we not see individuals who are screaming at night and at people walking by getting these consequences that the city is supposed to follow? 5 days ago
Bloomington, IN Sidewalk & Curb Complaints open The sidewalk in front of my house ends at the alley to the east of my house and then picks back up. There is always a huge hole there as there is no apron and everyone that wants to try to park on fourth turns around at this spot. Strollers, walkers and wheelchairs are completely out of luck here. Even small children struggle. And of course, the gavel runs into the street, mixing with the leaves and creates a formidable barrier to stormwater making it into storm sewer. I've asked for the sidewalk to continue "over" the alley as it does for almost every other alley in Prospect hill and on Kirkwood. No one even calls me back. Meanwhile, the city appears to be spending millions on curbs. Sidewalk & Curb Complaints 5 days ago
