Bloomington, IN Trails open There is a gentleman who rides up and down the B-line in the picture attached, and is playing a song quite loudly through a speaker. I understand that speakers and inappropriate language cannot necessarily be reliably policed, but this has been occurring for several hours a day, several days a week, since at least June. The song he is playing is "POS" by Seuco and it is the only song, on repeat. It not only contains several occurrences of a man screaming "Shut the f*** up," but also includes themes promoting suicide, containing sexual content including the word masturbate, and degrades women. I encourage whoever is addressing or reading this complaint to at least read the lyrics, but listening will help understand the aggression and upsetting nature of the prior mentioned scream. While I understand this may seem nit-picky at first glance, his route includes switchyard park and around the children's parks. It feels disappointing that Bloomington works so hard to maintain a family friendly, accessible, and inclusive area and that he has not previously been approached about this or asked to stop. Or, if he has, he is obviously not maintaining this as he was observed doing this even today, 10/06, at 1pm. Can he please be asked to refrain from playing this song bare minimum, if not warned about using a speaker as loud as he is? Trails 2 days ago

Bloomington, IN Traffic Suggestions open Thanks for your time and help with the problem at West Third and Yancy. This 3-way, "T" intersection is often blocked. There is no white paint or 'Don't Block the Box' signage. I say leave it clean and ticket people who block it. Get some revenue. The problem will get worse with the completion of Chik-Fil-A. 2 days ago
Bloomington, IN Business open I am requesting the City’s review of a $200 “PPI IMPOUND INDIANA LIEN (notifications Fee)” charged by Tow Time Solutions LLC. Tow Time towed my 2022 Tesla Model 3 from the FlexePark lot at 299 E. 3th Street (Tow Time interestingly reports the Towed From address as 219 E. 4th Street) on October 4, 2026. I picked up the vehicle on October 6 and paid the $485 total shown on the attached receipt (Invoice #3146). The receipt lists $150 for towing, $50 for special equipment, $60 for storage, $25 for administration, and $200 for the lien-notification fee. I understand that my monthly parking agreement prohibited parking in that lot from 4:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Sundays, and I am not asking the City to review whether the tow itself was justified. My concern is whether the separate $200 fee is authorized for a non-consensual tow under Bloomington Municipal Code 4.32.130, which lists permitted towing and storage charges. Please also determine whether IC 9-22-6-2 or any other state law authorizes this separate $200 lien-notification fee in addition to the charges listed under BMC 4.32.130, and what records support the amount charged. I spoke with Tow Time in person, and we agreed that I would submit the fee question to the City through uReport. Please review whether this specific fee is permitted, advise me of the appropriate process to dispute it, and let me know whether the City can assist with resolving it. Bloomington, IN Traffic Related Complaints open I’m writing to request a review of a traffic safety concern at the intersection of E Creeks Edge Drive and S Heirloom Drive. Vehicles currently park very close to the corner and stop sign along both approaches of Creeks Edge Drive, significantly obstructing sightlines. Drivers turning west onto Creeks Edge from Heirloom must pull into the intersection before they can adequately see approaching traffic, creating a potential collision risk. Could your department evaluate this intersection and determine whether parking restrictions near the corners, “No Parking” signs, or other measures could improve visibility and safety? If this intersection falls outside your jurisdiction, I would appreciate your directing me to the appropriate department. Thank you for your attention. Please let me know if photographs or additional information would be helpful. 2 days ago
