Bloomington, INclosedSidewalk Snow RemovalIt appears that the Firestone Auto Store has used the public sidewalk as a dumping ground for snow removed from their parking lot. This afternoon the sidewalk was covered to a depth of about 4 feet. When I complained to the only employee inside their store, he was quite dismissive. These are the kinds of people who view pedestrians as subhuman. Please fine the bastard.5 months ago
Bloomington, INclosedSidewalk Snow RemovalThe sidewalk in front of the empty lot is completely unshoveled – with deep snow. Pedestrians were forced to walk in Walnut Street this afternoon.5 months ago
Bloomington, INclosedStreet Snow RemovalThe alley at the end of my townhouse building is not plowed and it is a fire hazard because no cars can exit and no one can get through. I called our leasing agent, Omega, and they said that it is not their responsibility to plow that area. They did plow the parking lot portion, but they said that that alley is the responsibility of the city of Bloomington. We know that you are dealing with a lot with the snowstorm, but we wanted to bring it to your attention because we are not able to leave our parking area.5 months ago

Bloomington, INclosedSidewalk Snow RemovalOn the north side of E. 19th Street – from N. Walnut Street to N. Dunn Street – almost every sidewalk is either completely unshoveled or shoveled so poorly that walking safely is very difficult. Several of these property owners were already warned during the last large snowfall. PLEASE FINE THEM.5 months ago
Bloomington, INclosedSidewalk Snow RemovalSnow has not been cleared from the mixed-use path along South Rogers. Thank you for all you do.5 months ago
Bloomington, INclosedStreet Snow RemovalPlease please please clear off some of the metered parking between 2nd and 3rd streets. I had to park blocks away from my residence, then will have to walk every day in the freezing cold at 5am to get to my vehicle until there are enough spots there.5 months ago
Bloomington, INclosedSidewalk Snow RemovalThe B-line crossing at Rogers (near 10th & Rogers) needs to be plowed. It's been too many years for Parks & Rec to not know that the intersections are a key component of the network. The mud-slush-ice-snow-curb crossing south of the official crossing is a travesty.5 months ago
Bloomington, INclosedStreet Snow RemovalThere is one block of South Waldron Street —south of Kirkwood-that never gets plowed. And the intersection with Kirkwood has had multiple (5 and counting) cars turn south onto Kirkwood and get stuck, right behind my parked car. So the deep snow and ruts from all that is making getting my car out more problematic. I’m a senior citizen, so kind of waiting for the street to be plowed before getting someone to dig me out.5 months ago
