The yard is heavily infested with the yellow-flowering invasive weed Lesser Celandine that the city sent out a flier about, but the house is unoccupied and up for sale, so it’s not clear anyone would receive that notification or be responsible for removing/poisoning the plants. I can see a few plants in the adjacent yards along Brown Ridge, too. |

Dear Audrey Brittingham,
Thank you for your response regarding Case #209518.
I would like to request that someone visit the site to inspect the designated smoking area and the cigarette disposal containers. Because the apartment complex has established a permanent smoking area immediately outside this non-smoking building, violations are constant and can be observed at any time.
The police have responded to this location multiple times due to fires caused by smoking. They informed me that this is a government or HAND (Housing and Neighborhood Development) issue; however, each time I report it, I am referred to a different department.
Is it possible for a representative to see this firsthand without me calling the non-emergency line? Additionally, would the Health Department be able to assist, or is there another official who can verify the proximity of this smoking circle to the building? I have numerous photos available to provide as proof if needed.
I look forward to your guidance on who can specifically address this ongoing safety concern.

I spoke to Brittany in an email of a safety concern and hazard of smoking outside my apartment Complex but before I could respond I needed to respond on what she stated to do

Yesterday evening (3/25/26) about 6:20 pm, multiple dogs started barking in the back yard at 1432 Winfield Rd. They barked continually until 6:56 pm. at which time a man let the dogs back into the house. I keep reporting; the dogs keep barking. |

West Entrance Door is sticking, went to leave for the day and the door was wide open and I couldn't close it. Rubbing on the top frame of the door. I was able to get a small step stool and help push it down to close it. Put up signs to inform. |

Good afternoon,
My home is located on Azalea Lane. Our road is in bad shape. I know the winter was rough on roads throughout our entire City but I would kindly request that more than just filling the potholes be considered for this important thoroughfare which is connector to both Bloomington High School South and the Southside YMCA. In particular, the intersection of Azalea Lane and Wylie Farm Road is in terrible condition. The potholes have been filled, and refilled and filled again. There is nothing but bumps and ruts left. Additionally, it has been ages since I've seen a street cleaner on our road. There is a lot of tree debris blown around the medians and in general, things are looking shabby in our lovely little neighborhood. I would greatly appreciate someone putting some attention on these issues.
