At about 11:10 this morning, a bunch of dogs in the back yard of 1432 Winfield started barking. They barked and barked and barked until 11:45 at which time a woman came out of the back door of 1432 and started yelling at the dogs and trying to get them inside. The dogs didn't want to go inside. She kept yelling more and they finally did go inside.
I keep reporting; the dogs keep barking. Every. Day. |

An der Tessiner Straße im Bereich der Bushaltestellen, in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Grundschule John Brinckman, kommt es regelmäßig zu gefährlichen Situationen im Straßenverkehr. Beobachtungen vor Ort zeigen, dass die bestehende Ampelschaltung wiederholt von Autofahrern missachtet wird und Fahrzeuge trotz Rotlicht fahren. Insbesondere zu den Zeiten vor Unterrichtsbeginn sowie nach Schulschluss, wenn sich viele Kinder im Straßenraum bewegen, ergibt sich daraus ein deutlich erhöhtes Unfallrisiko. Die Kombination aus querenden Schulkindern, haltenden Bussen und fließendem Verkehr führt zu einer unübersichtlichen Verkehrssituation, in der Fehlverhalten einzelner Verkehrsteilnehmer schwerwiegende Folgen haben kann. Vor diesem Hintergrund erscheint eine Überprüfung und Nachbesserung der Verkehrssicherungsmaßnahmen dringend erforderlich. Als mögliche Maßnahmen kommen insbesondere in Betracht: • Installation eines Rotlicht-Blitzers zur konsequenten Ahndung von Verstößen • Einrichtung einer Tempo-30-Zone im unmittelbaren Schulumfeld • ergänzende verkehrsberuhigende Maßnahmen oder zusätzliche Beschilderung Es wird gebeten, die Situation zeitnah zu prüfen und geeignete Maßnahmen zur Reduzierung des Unfallrisikos und zum Schutz der Schulkinder zu veranlassen. |

I know the city is about to re-pave Greenbriar Lane. I have lived here for 9 years. Our road, being at the bottom of a large hill floods anytime it rains hard and much of the pavement pulls up and lands basically right in front of our house. I just wanted to say that you might want to assess this before you pave again because the amount of water that washes through here is substantial and I’d hate for big chunks of it to end up it the sewer/stream that leads into the neighborhood across High Street. We maybe need larger drains on either side of my address, 2008 E Greenbriar Lane so the water can escape more easily and not take the road with it. Just a thought. You can see the tale tale signs of it if you look at the road and all the gravel near my address. |
