It won't let me choose the location on the map. Headed northbound on I-69 in the right lane, just south of mile marker 113.2 is a pothole that has the potential to damage a vehicle's tires. It rocked the car. We called 911 on 1/31 to report it but just hit it again this evening. Please forward to INDOT to request as a priority repair or temporarily block the lane until a repair can be done. Thank you. |

The sidewalk along the east side of College Mall Road along most of College Mall Road between East third and Moores Pike needs to be cleared of snow to allow for safe passage and for safe use of city bus stops. |

The street at Jordan’s Way in Hyde Park is snow covered with 2-3 inches of snow. The road could use a couple passes with a plow at this point. Th ensuring streets are clear to the road. Jordan’s Way is slick and snow covered. |

More than a week after the snow stopped, I encountered many terrible sidewalks today. Just a few: west side of Rogers, between Kirkwood and 4th, around Regions bank on Kirkwood and Rogers, in front of the Gables house, along the Indian restaurant at the corner of Sixth and Walnut and from the steakhouse to the trail on 6th street.
Also, can you please, please require that the sidewalk be cleared to the street? Often, the sidewalks are decent, but then you have to climb over a slippery mound at the corner as you approach oncoming traffic. Definitely a hazard.

Followup to report 208191. I would like an explanation as to why this blacktop does not constitute a sidewalk, which is defined in municipal code Title 12 "any walkway or pedestrian corridor within the City of Bloomington's legally platted right-of-way." This seems to fit that definition. How are you making that determination? |
