The retaining wall erected to support the new-ish multi-use path shows significant signs of erosion, as the gravel piled on the path-side of the blocks used to traverse the creek/ditch under the path has washed away in multiple places, and the drainage holes in the large concrete blocks are now exposed. During the huge deluge in 2020, the block's in this area literally shifted. I suspect that another big deluge could shift them further, and collapse parts of the path. There is a general terrible odor coming from them, and it seems like perhaps some waste that isn't appropriate for compost bins may be the cause. (Possibly meat, chicken waste, other fecal matter?) wir bewirtschaften in Absprache mit der Stadt Köln ein kleines Stück öffentliches Grün, den "Pantaleonsgarten", gegenüber der "Pantaleonsstraße 10" (50676 Köln-Altstadt-Süd). Es gibt dort einen Garten und auf der anderen Seite des Fußweges einen schattigen Bereich mit unserem Gartenmobiliar. Dort stehen unter Bäumen drei Wasserkontainer, sowie in der Ecke ein Geräteschrank, eine Gerätetruhe und (ehemals) drei Kompostkästen aus Holz.
Der Garten ist ok, aber die Ecke unter den Bäumen nicht mehr. Sie wird regelmäßig und scheinbar zunehmend von den Junkies genutzt. Auch wird dort Müll abgelagert. Wir reinigen selber schon regelmäßig diese Ecke, aber nun geht es nicht mehr.
Es liegen dort neben unendlich vielem Kleinplastikmüll auch Spritzen mit Nadeln. Es findet sich dort Diebesgut wie leere Schmuckschatullen, leere Kinderhandtaschen und leere Rucksäcke. Kartons u.a. werden dort abgelagert, derzeit ein Schublagenschrank und kleineres Küchenmobiliar. Das Bild ändert sich täglich/wöchentlich. Jedoch scheint 'die Stadt' dort nicht zu reinigen.
Seit Jahren kümmern wir uns um "unseren" Garten und die Ecke, und halten alles sauber. Derzeit hat der Müll jedoch sehr, sehr zugenommen und erscheint gesundheitsgefährdend.
Bei dem Garten und der Ecke handelt es sich um ein öffentliches Gelände. Auch Kinder laufen dort rum, und könnten z.B. auf die Spritzen treffen.
Wir bitten die Stadt, dort etwas zu unternehmen. Vor allem auch den Müll zu entfernen, so dass wir selber wieder handlungsfähig werden.
