I have kept a spreadsheet of cars going the wrong way for several years. The number has increased tremendously during the month of August 2024. January - July 2024 I witnessed 18 vehicles driving the wrong way. In August there have been 25 vehicles driving the wrong way. I'm only at the office Monday-Friday from about 11:00 am to about 5:00 pm - so there are probably many more. It seems to me that something should be done about this. | Bloomington, IN | open | Street Trees | This summer the city installed speed cushions and bump-outs in Park Ridge East along Morningside Drive. Native trees and shrubs were planted as part of this greenway improvement project.
We experienced what seems to have been vandalism last night—the dogwood tree that the city installed in the traffic bump-out in front of our house was snapped off. It doesn’t appear to be the type of damage a deer would have caused (photo attached) which would be the only other explanation.
