The newly installed concrete bicycle barriers on S Rogers between 2nd street and 1st street need to have florescent signals warning drivers they are there. That street has NOT been repainted either. Yesterday (12/09/25), I ended up driving up the side of the one. Driving to work, it looked like there was street paint and once I realized it was too late, they came out of nowhere almost as if they were in the middle of the road. Today (12/10/25), I made sure to look out for them, but had to swerve once I came up close to it. It has been HORRIBLEY installed. This has to be the worst street project I've ever seen. This concrete barrier installment is a danger to drivers, especially in the morning and night. They need to either be removed or have fluorescent tags on them warning drivers, along with repainted the street with yellow lines. I can guarantee that I am not the only driver who has done this. |

Aufgrund der am Straßenrand parkenden Autos im Martin-Andersen-Nexö-Ring ist der Verkehr sehr schwer einsehbar, wenn man aus der Carl-von-Linne-Str. kommt. Besonders wenn unmittelbar an der Straßeneinmündung Autos stehen, bei denen die Fensterscheiben getönt sind und man nicht hindurch sehen kann. Dann kann man nur auf gut Glück fahren und hoffen, dass man niemandem die Vorfahrt nimmt. Womöglich wäre hier ein Spiegel sinnvoll, um den Verkehr im M.-A.-Nexö-Ring besser einsehen zu können? |

This light was recently installed, and it has caused me to be unable to sleep in my own bedroom despite curtains. My back yard is almost entirely illuminated (see image). I believe this constitutes a light trespass as defined in Bloomington city ordinance section 20.04.090 section (4) and lacks proper shielding as outlined in section (5)(A). |

Es ist nur eine Idee, aber woanders passt dies hier leider nicht rein. Gegenüber des Kindergartens müssen die Autos meistens an der Seite abgestellt werden, kann man diese Fläche hier nicht fest als halben Parkplatz auslegen, damit ihr auch ordentlich zugewiesen ist, wie die Autos hier zu halten haben. Außerdem wäre eine Tempo Velle im Bereich diesen Kindergartens dringend notwendig, wenn nicht sogar zwei. |

The trash and recycling bins at this location are frequently left out for days after trash pickup. They usually block the sidewalk and impede pedestrians and cause a lack of accessibility for any wheelchair users. |

Hi, my recycling (and my neighbor's) was not picked up yesterday. There is no waste in the bin. There was nothing in the bin that's not on the list. There are flattened boxes but they are not pizza boxes. What does "not properly sorted"? I truly believe the contents do not weigh more than 40 lobs. The can lid closes, so the can is not overly filled. Please help, thank you. |
