Subject: Brown/Discolored Tap Water – Water Quality Complaint
I am reporting brown or discolored water coming from my residential water supply in Bloomington, Indiana.
I am concerned about the quality and safety of the water being supplied to my home. I understand the city has previously reported issues involving elevated manganese levels, but I would like confirmation of the cause of the current discoloration.
I am requesting that City of Bloomington Utilities investigate this issue, provide current water quality testing results for the affected distribution area, and advise whether the water is safe for drinking, cooking, and bathing.
Please provide an update on what corrective action is being taken and when normal water clarity is expected to return.
