I have previously reported this issue - over 2 weeks ago - and nothing has been done. There is an abandoned car - or if not abandoned, it's not in working order - that is parked on the public street. It is silver, has body damage, and no license plate. I am the Neighborhood Association President, and I'm tired of getting daily complaints about this car.
The last uReport submitted looked like it was reported to the police dept. and closed. WHAT HAPPENED AFTER THAT? If you don't know or can't tell me, please provide me with EXACT instructions on who I should call and speak to - either at the City of Bloomington, or the Police dept. directly. Thank you. |

The no parking signs are being installed IN FRONT of and BEHIND the stop signs. The signs dont match the other half of the neighborhood in placement or type of sign. They look fake and are installed so drivers cant read them. The temporary signs have been left as litter in the streets and the installlation of these new signs is unbelievably ineffective. This is not acceptable and unbelievable after this neighborhood has dealt with paper signs for 2 years. |

This intersection is a serious safety issue for pedestrians and vehicles. The high volume of students getting off the bus and crossing to the apartments combined with heavy flow of vehicle traffic is such a dangerous combination. Please fix this before there is a serious accident or injury. This intersection should have an overpass for students to safely cross the street especially with additional complexes being built. |

There is a gentleman who rides up and down the B-line in the picture attached, and is playing a song quite loudly through a speaker. I understand that speakers and inappropriate language cannot necessarily be reliably policed, but this has been occurring for several hours a day, several days a week, since at least June.
The song he is playing is "POS" by Seuco and it is the only song, on repeat. It not only contains several occurrences of a man screaming "Shut the f*** up," but also includes themes promoting suicide, containing sexual content including the word masturbate, and degrades women. I encourage whoever is addressing or reading this complaint to at least read the lyrics, but listening will help understand the aggression and upsetting nature of the prior mentioned scream.
While I understand this may seem nit-picky at first glance, his route includes switchyard park and around the children's parks. It feels disappointing that Bloomington works so hard to maintain a family friendly, accessible, and inclusive area and that he has not previously been approached about this or asked to stop. Or, if he has, he is obviously not maintaining this as he was observed doing this even today, 10/06, at 1pm.
Can he please be asked to refrain from playing this song bare minimum, if not warned about using a speaker as loud as he is? |
