A previous uReport was associated with an incorrect address. Case #214220 is listed under 508 N Lincoln St, but the correct address for the problem is a couple houses south, on the SE corner of 9th and Lincoln Streets. However, HAND has previously said that it is ok that this property creates a problem for pedestrians and drivers. See https://bloomington.in.gov/crm/tickets/view?ticket_id=212816 |

Nuisance Lights |
open |
New light installed by Duke Energy (replaced existing light) on pole between Parkview parking lot and Washington St is blindingly bright and pointed straight at my bedroom window. Even with the blinds closed, the light is clearly visible and illuminates the room to the extent that it is difficult to sleep. I'm used to there being some amount of light out there, but this is untenable. Attached photo was taken at approx. midnight and shows brightness and position of the light from my window. |
