A previous uReport was associated with an incorrect address. Case #214220 is listed under 508 N Lincoln St, but the correct address for the problem is a couple houses south, on the SE corner of 9th and Lincoln Streets. New light installed by Duke Energy (replaced existing light) on pole between Parkview parking lot and Washington St is blindingly bright and pointed straight at my bedroom window. Even with the blinds closed, the light is clearly visible and illuminates the room to the extent that it is difficult to sleep. I'm used to there being some amount of light out there, but this is untenable. Attached photo was taken at approx. midnight and shows brightness and position of the light from my window. |

Immediately following the installation of the new "NO PARKING" signs, vehicles are still parked in the road and directly in front of the signs. Vehicles that were not there when the signs were installed are now there and blocking safe passage on the road. |

I am writing to report damage to our recycling cart that occurred during recycling collection this morning.
We placed our recycling cart at the curb last night, and the cart and wheels were intact and in good condition. This morning, after our recycling had been collected, my husband went outside to bring the cart back to the house and found it lying on its side with one of the wheels completely broken off.
Given that the cart was undamaged when we placed it at the curb and was found damaged immediately following collection, it appears the cart was damaged while being emptied or returned to the curb.
We would like the damaged recycling cart repaired or replaced at no charge to us. We can provide photographs of the broken wheel and cart if needed.
Please let me know what information you need from us and when we can expect the cart to be repaired or replaced. |
