Road was torn up for a sewage/utility repair roughly 1.5 months ago and was never properly repaved/restored. Mud is encroaching into yards, several people have slipped in the mud due to its close proximity to the mailboxes. Some cannot park close to their homes, one cannot get to the next road, they have to turn around and go to the opposite end of the street to get to the next block. The landlord is a slumlord who keeps the neighborhood roads a wreck but THIS situation has gone on too long! |

I know when staff comes out to check out this parking complaint this car will no longer be here. Today is Saturday, and I'm pretty sure your department doesn't check on tickets on the weekend. This is extremely dangerous! I almost hit this vehicle turning off Henderson on to Wylie. Because I know the rules of the road, I know if I had hit this parked vehicle, I would be my fault. That seems ridiculous. Apparently the people in this house do not know the rules of the road as there have been multiple complaints about this section of road in the past few weeks. This exact car was in the spot and reported last weekend. Could you please, please consider putting up signage that states "No parking allowed"? I ask this in the interest of the safety of all of us who live in this neighborhood and regularly take this turn onto Wylie.
Thank you. |
