Water is staining white cotton laundry to a tan color. First started yesterday. Water in toilets now appears to be coming in with a yellow/brown tinge starting today. Have called and reported issue and left messages. Cannot do laundry and do not know if water is safe to drink. Thanks. |

I am writing to inquire about a possible water quality issue at my residence in Bloomington.
Over the weekend, I noticed that our tap water appeared different from usual. It has been somewhat cloudy and has a noticeable yellowish or greenish tint. The discoloration is more noticeable in person than it appears in the attached photos.
Since we have a child at home, I am concerned about whether the water is safe to use for everyday purposes such as bathing, brushing teeth, and using a humidifier.
Could you please let me know if there are any known water quality issues in our area? If possible, I would also appreciate it if someone could visit our residence to inspect or test the water and confirm whether it is safe to use.
Thank you for your assistance. |
