This house has been vacant for approximately 6 years or so . Perhaps longer .there is no a rat problem in the neighborhood. I went in front porch today and looked in window and saw what appears to be rat feces on floor of room to the right. I know there is only so much city can do but is it possible to put out traps in alley ? Several neighbors have rat problems and we are all dealing with it as best we can on our properties, but with an abandoned house and a hoarder house at 823 it feels like we are fighting losing battle . This house is a hoarder house . Several houses in immediate vicinity are starting to have problems with rats . We are not certain that 823 is sole source but neighbors have seen rats scurrying around that property and there is visible food waste on front porch . God only knows what is in that house . We know there is only so much city can do in regards to this matter but is it possible to put out some traps for rodents on the alley and around house . I have not seen John the owner for quite some time , so perhaps it is currently abandoned ? |

Traffic has significantly increased (and at faster speeds) on N Maple between W 17th and W 11th since the speed bumps were installed on W 11th. We believe that traffic gets off the highway onto 17th, and then needs to get over to 11th to travel east. In the past much of this traffic routed down Monroe. Now, cars wanting to go east are instead taking N Maple, presumably to avoid the new speed bumps on W 11th. While no neighborhood wants increased traffic, Monroe is better suited than Maple to accommodate it, as there are good sidewalks and tree plots (N Maple has worse sidewalks and no tree plot). I would like to request speed bumps on N Maple. |

Filing a noise complaint. They have continuously been having music blasting so loud that it can be heard in all the surrounding apartments. It's all hours of the day, especially late at night |

Sidewalk & Curb Complaints |

A branch fell on the sidewalk a few weeks ago, and it was cut back and cleared. However, there is still a sharp branch extending out over the sidewalk that needs to be cut back even further. I walked into it today while walking my dog, and the branch cut my ear. It’s nothing serious but it could have been much worse. Thanks for your attention to this matter. |
