It’s dangerous to passing pedestrians and drivers as there should NEVER be a car propped up roadside for days on end. Now, as seen as you refuse to acknowledge the illegal and dangerous behaviour being carried out by our local roadside mechanic, my next step will be to write directly to Councillor Danny Thorpe Leader of the Royal Borough of Greenwich and request he looks directly into the matter and then ask Why the RBG is turning a blind eye to such activities. Greenwich, Britain1title: Dangerous and Illegal Car Repair Shop detail: It would seem that the RBG are condoning illegal activities in Plumpstead. I have reported this issue several times and still he continues to work on cars using the public highway and footpath on Riverdale Road, this is illegal. I have put the (Act) in all my messages to you that shows you that it’s illegal and punishable with fines, but you still condone this illegal behaviour. Please help me to understand. If he is repairing cars and blocking one side of the road and footpath and I’m either disabled with either a wheelchair or visually impaired or i have a pram and children, how would you suggest I safely access the road I live on without endangering myself and others by walking in the road to avoid a person using the road as an extension of his business??? Greenwich, Britain1title: Draining and sewage problems detail: The whole building smells like a sewer, all the playgrounds and communal areas are often overflowing and all the waste water is coming back on the ground making a mess and leaving a nasty smell. Greenwich, Britain1title: At last, the stairs are clean. detail: So, after loads of reports and an MP coming to see us, we have finally had our stairs and surrounding areas washed down. Not only washed down, but they have done a good job, words i never thought i would say about the caretaking service at our building. It is a pity though, that the caretaker, who's job it is to do it, cannot be bothered and two of his colleagues have to come in on a saturday to do the work he will not do. After all the reports and an MP with councillors in tow, the caretaker still did not clean our stairs. I think it shows that the caretaker has a problem doing his job here. Maybe he shouldn't be able to do it here any more and get someone who can do the job. But, apart from all the reports and anger, we say Thank You to the two ( yes 2 ) guys who came in on a saturday to do a good job in our building. Please keep it up, we will be very grateful. url: https://fix.royalgreenwich.gov.uk/report/2887391 Submitted via FixMyStreet 6 days ago

Greenwich, Britain1title: Urine and filth still not cleaned. detail: Even though we had a caretaker around our building earlier today,(he removed the black bin from the bushes), he still managed to do nothing else. We have been told, several times in the last couple of weeks, that the caretaker washes down our stairs and surrounding areas, on a friday. We even had one of their managers, support that statement on a walk about on our estate on wednesday 21/7/21. We had an MP, a councillor and other members of the council here, yet the message is still not getting through about the caretakers not doing their job when it comes to our building. He was right outside our building, he removed the bin, then removed himself, not to be seen again. I would love to hear your feed back on this matter, before i go back to the councillor and MP. Greenwich, Britain1title: Urine still on stairs after c/taker was here. detail: These pictures show a urine trail that has been there for over two weeks. The trail goes from under the stairs to the foot of the stairs. I have just cleaned one little section from the front of the stairs, back 4 or 5 tiles. I did this with a little watering can and a brush. Now you can see in the third picture that the floor is naturally stained,BUT, the urine stain is missing and you can still see the rest of the urine stain going under the stairs. I have been informed by one of my neighbours that they saw the caretaker trying to clean a urine stain from the middle section of the stairs. Why did he do just one little section on that occassion and not the rest. Why have the stairs and surrounding areas not been washed down properly for over 4 months. Chalk marks from over 4 months ago are still visible in the corner of the 4th step up. If it was washed down, the chalk marks would have washed away. It is only chalk and would be removed with just water. url: https://fix.royalgreenwich.gov.uk/report/2877943 Submitted via FixMyStreet 9 days ago

Greenwich, Britain1title: Parking bay blocking view detail: As you come out of Holland Gardens the parking bay to your right as you exit onto Avery Hill Road is dangerous and blocks the view of the cars that wizz past at well over 30mph. There are lots of unused parking bays on Avery Hill Road so this one nearest to Holland Gardens entrance should be removed for safety purposes. I think not moving it was an oversight when the Holland Gardens Road was put in. url: https://fix.royalgreenwich.gov.uk/report/2875547 Submitted via FixMyStreet 10 days ago

Greenwich, Britain1title: Road Obstruction Riverdale Road detail: The mechanic based of Riverdale Road and Saunders Road is still using the public footpath and road to carry out works on vehicles. Coming home this evening (again) I was unable to use the public footpath to safely go home as it was (again) being used by yours truly. My question is, how does a person who is either disabled or a person using pram safely use the public footpath if they have to walk in the road due to an illegal street vendor? THE CLEAN NEIGHBOURHOODS AND ENVIRONMENT ACT 2005 (“the Act”) NUISANCE PARKING 1. Offences These offences are aimed at businesses that use the public road as a 'showroom' and people who use the road as a 'workshop'. • Section 3 of the Act makes it an offence for a person to park motor vehicles on a road or roads, where the vehicles are parked merely in order to be sold. The offence is committed if there are two or more vehicles within 500 metres of each other. The maximum fine on summary conviction is level 4 (currently £2,500) on the standard scale; • Section 4 makes it an offence to carry out "restricted works" to vehicles on a road. "Restricted Works" covers repair, maintenance, servicing, improving or the dismantling of a motor vehicle or any part or accessory. The maximum fine is level 4 on the standard scale on summary conviction. url: https://fix.royalgreenwich.gov.uk/report/2870740 Submitted via FixMyStreet 13 days ago

Greenwich, Britain1title: Rubbish everywhere detail: On this occassion, i took some photos of the carparking opposite house numbers 23 tellson avenue onwards. The problems we are reporting outside our building 1-22 tellson av, are just as bad there as well. How much work the caretakers are not doing in their normal day to day job, is staggering. And it hust gets worse on a day to day basis. There cannot be any excuse for this. I saw a caretaker earlier on today, walking from that direction, past my house, towards the tower block. He was carrying an orange plastic shovel and what looked to me as a normal household broom. The broom is totally inadequate for the job he has to do, plus he had no bin with him. So he must have cleared a small bit of rubbish near a bin, to be able to dump any rubbish he "may have cleaned". Or maybe they are props, just incase some one sees him dossing. I cant answer that question, but i do know the answer!!! url: https://fix.royalgreenwich.gov.uk/report/2869838 Submitted via FixMyStreet 13 days ago
