Some guy drops a pile of food from a bag each day right outside of the gated entrance. There are multiple rats running to and from a big old, diseased looking tree (Ashe?) to grab food left on the sidewalk by this guy. I think the rats are nesting inside of the base of this tree. It has lots of broken branches now, leans excessively, and there are several cracks & holes at the trunk level. So, I think they have hollowed out some of the inside to make it their home. As it weakens from the inside out, my fear is that part of the tree ends up falling on cars parked alongside of the street underneath it or on an unlucky bystander. Is there anything you can do to help?
